Is it just me or is this year just loaded with talent, bottom to the top is fantastic. There are tons of heavyweights, what’s “worse” is many will battle in round one of the playoffs it is actually crazy. This year ought to be entertaining to say the least.

Round One Battles:

Mertzon and May
Rankin and Ira
Gordon and Saint Jo
Nazareth and Follett
Westbrook and Garden City
Springlake and Spur

I don’t see many of these as battles personally. Only 1 maybe 2 that go all 4 quarters in my opinion. Maybe I’m wrong but I just don’t see it. I do think there are more than normal top tier teams that are legitimate contenders. I think there are a couple who will be exposed over the next 1-2 weeks, but we’ll see.
