I don't see how Tomball with their record of 4-0 is listed as number 4. They should be at least 1 or 2. El Paso homeschool has not played a game all year and only play 4 games this year and are ranked number 2? Are we not using the sixman rankings for playoff seatings. El Paso faith is 1-3 and in 9th place in the state. Mount Carmel should be ranked ahead of them. San Antonio Feast is 1-3 and ranked number 6th. I don't want to hear strength of schedule as the excuse. There are a lot of good football teams out there that getting a lot of respect. It appears a huge factor is what you done in the past- throw that out. Kids graduate and the base line should be equal at the start of the season when a team starts out with 100 points higher on the first game. Everyone else is fighting the entire year to catch up. Example is last year Mount Carmel did not make the playoffs. They had a better team than 4 teams that did and a better record. What happen those 4 teams were not competive in the playoffs. Mount Carmel would have been. TCAL should use its own system this current system is built for public schools that have a lot of historical data. Lets not make a mistake and leave a deserving team out of the playoffs again.
