The Eagles of high point prep how good are they? and can they run the table all the way to Trent? they seem to have a good balance of run and pass, and speed across the field from side line to side line. Can a young team win it all? and do they have the player smarts, and the coaching to win it all? I quess only time will tell.

Well to me i think they have a 50/50 shot at winning the title I've seen them play this year.. They lost to Tyler street by 8 points.. Now i heard azle was A beast this season but i have to see them play before i base my opinions about them
But it will be Highpoint vs Azle in the title game

Hp is well coach, They play good O and will come at you with several difference sets. Their O passing game in my opinion is not that great I will not say why I think it is weak. Their D is good across the board.Their spread D could be better, once again I will not say why I think it is weak.
This is where they are weak no bench. I have seen them play twice and they are solid.

High point is good. Azle is good. Which one is better I don't know. High point I believe has a fr playing safety and plays runningback. He comes from a family with football talent, his dad coaches a k state, brother play cornerback at pantego Christian. Last year when we played them they mainly ran the ball bc they had a backup quarter back, but had tall recievers who really didn't do anything. Azle had always had a great team but losing to st Paul in the state semis prolly lit a fire in their eyes and no can stop them but azle should move up to tapps d2. Why to much depth and talent to play tcaf. But that is my opinion.

Good job HP on your win!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eagles stay the course keep doing what you have been doing, and good things will happen for you. Could it be that HP gives up points because they play everyone when the game is out of control. I no they gave up 28 to Glenview the first half, but my source tells me they only gave up one first down the second half. they gave up 12 points to Balch Springs, but again my source told me coach Lum put his foot down, and there was no more first downs given in that game. I believe the Eagles will play to what ever level they have to on defense to get the win. Only time will tell if they have what it takes to win a state title, but I would not bet against them or coach Lum.
