Here We Go Boys This Is What It's All About

One thing we will all know is if a Coach taught their kids good sportsmanship by the way the kids act after a game. I hope to see a lot of this. You teach them sportsmanship you will teach them to better adults. Our world could use a lot of that!
Actually,
I have one better than that.
You can tell if the boys/girls
(if in fact girls are capable of good sportsmanship)
have actually learned sportsmanship
when the local church has a youth event
and kids from the neighboring towns
(crosstown rivals?)
are welcomed with open arms.
Unfortunately,
a recent D-Now event
in another town
was neither sportsman-like or Christ-like
towards our kids.
I guess they're one of those Winning centered towns.
Hmmmm...
I'll refrain from saying what I really think
seeing how I was told to work on my social skills and all.

I just like it when both teams know they gave their best and not look back. I do know sometimes it's hard for we adults to do that.

Cowboy if Aquilla or Abbott doesn't accept you, you know I do. But you know as well as I that they definitely want you on their side.

COACH
You taught me determination.
You gave me the skills
to persist in life's game,
and for that I always will
give thanks for you
and look back and boast
that I had the privilege
of calling you coach.

If you posess "gratitude", you have thankfulness.....
and with the right attitude, you'll show gratefulness!

Saying "thankyou" is imperative, it makes a lasting impression...
Coach can't tell ya what to do, but here's a few suggestions:

Send "thankyou" cards and e-mails, or even personal notes...
or just make a phone call, they all get my votes!

You can also give of yourself, give the gift of "time"....
you show your appreciation, and it won't cost you a dime!

It helps nurture relationships, and this alone is great....
it's a positive characteristic, a very desired trait!

It's being thankful for what you have, instead of being rude....
so go ahead and say "thanks", and express your "gratitude"!

Coach A

Thats fine Doggie. Maybe next year we can pick the Neighborhood again when the board gets boring again, remember Smokey. It's your thread.

I can feel the excitement in the air. I know the boys are out practicing like their playing a game. Good luck to all boys and fans give those boys big shout out.

Hey guys let your team know how proud of them you are. I can see many Coaches very proud of what his team has done. Lets Share....

Okie Dokie......How about dem Under Doogies....not ranked in top 5

DII....Oglesby and Richland Springs

D1....May in the east....Happy in the west

Two more days then Lets Rumble. This week has gone by so slow. I knew if I could make it to Wednesday then I would be alright. How about you guys? Can you smell the leather going back and forth. I can smell it now.

Have the little towns already put out ribbons in support for their team? Nothing like a show of the town to excite the boys.

Since I really don't have a dog in the fight, I wish everyone good luck in the playoffs. May the best teams win and may all players come away from each game in good health. Your community is proud of your accomplishments and we thank you for your hard work all year!

Amen Doc, It's those precious kids entertaining us. I hope there will be no injuries and the boys will have fun just playing the game. I wish the same as you Pop, good luck to all teams.
