Here We Go Boys This Is What It's All About

R U Ready, I look forward to my Pirates facing your Matadors. Much respect for your team. I hope its good hard faught ball game!

Amen you guys are caring about you teams. Motley Co for R U Ready and the Pirates for Swires. Lets Go!!!! You two are amazing men wishing each team the best of luck.

I never had problems with folks from Lefors. On the road to our state championship we defeated lefors. I met a couple from lefors at an Allsups and instead of being bitter from the loss they said they would be pulling for us to win it all. It shows there are still good folks left in this world...lol

Swires where have you been. I needed you on the thread " A Nice Day In The Neighborhood". We had lots of fun. Smokey is Brilliant.

R U Ready you should of visited the thread " A Nice Day In the Neighborhood. Isn't it wonderful when the kids and fans telling you that they are going to pull of you all the way. You two guys are someone I would of loved to known. Check out the Neighborhood. Lots of Sweet Guy are over there.

Isn't Jesus Awesome. The joy that comes from these games to motivate the boys, to give them all good Coaches whether win or not, a family having fun time together. If we can just let him control our emotions this will make him smile. After the games a shake of hands and a pat on the back will make these boys feel so great. I love you all through Jesus Christ our Savior. May each boy finish their games without injury's and may each friend make their boys and girls feel like the Champions of the world.

Now show your pride in naming the team your kids are playing on!!!!!! Hallelujah....

Melanie, I have been here for a while. Just started posting a few months back. I agree with R U Ready. I videoed for our team the last time we played Motley. The people in the press box were as nice as can be. To me, thats what makes this such a great state and game. The people. Dont get me wrong, we have some rivals that we like to see lose or get knocked down a notch or two. However, when our teams from the Panhandle head down south to play, I am always on their side. They represent who we are up here and a lot of the city folks dont get who we are. They see it through our young people. I want Lefors to win just as bad as R U ready wants Motley to win. Their may be some harshness in the game. Their may be hurt feelings, whatever. It's about these young men and the journey they started with the intent of winning. Its about the memories they are creating. When its all over, whoever wins will have my support. And Jesus do rock!

How could I forget to mention that Smokey started this brilliant thread. He is a genius. He's one of my best friends and funny too. He did start this thread and I jumped right in having fun with all of the elite guys on the thread. I love Smokey and he's a great friend. Everyone needs to meet him. Sorry Smokey, when I mention A Nice Day In the Neighborhood I'm thinking nothing but Smokey.

One thing we will all know is if a Coach taught their kids good sportsmanship by the way the kids act after a game. I hope to see a lot of this. You teach them sportsmanship you will teach them to better adults. Our world could use a lot of that!

I will be pulling for the Greyhounds of Throckmorton all the way to Jerry World with hopes of a 3-peat state championship !!! Lets bring home another ring boys !!!! Go Hounds !!!
