Happy vs Cowell

I'm not sure I agree with no defense.... Out of Crowell's 64 pass attempts, (I think) most of them 30+ yards, and only give up 60 points, pretty good to me. Crowell had -11 rushing yards. I was there. A few busted plays, sure. Things to improve on, you bet. It did the job on Friday night... Hayes is one heck of a QB and has a great arm. The defensive pressure seemed to affect accuracy. I'm sure if you give him time he can thread a needle at any distance you wish.

Who was it that told me Crowell had a running game? Obviously not like I said at the very start of this topic.

No defense? I would agree somewhat. Both teams have that explosive offense. Crowel has arguably the best pass game in the state! Happy has one of the best running games in the state! Happy scored at will and rarely had trouble finding the endzone. Crowell on the other hand was under pressure all night, did not get many good looks down field, and had tough coverage to beat down field. Happy's defense did extremely well to contain one of the most dangerous passing teams in the state. When a team such as Crowell can throw the ball like they do it is a great accomplishment just to walk away with the win much less a mercy rule!

I agree!! Take away the 10,000 yards in penalties and the 2 pick 6's and it not the same game. Each team showed their strengths and weaknesses Friday night. Clean up the mistakes and both teams can be at AT&T in December.

Best of luck to the Cowboys!!
