Gordon vs Thorndale

What about talking on the phone with another school's players? You consider that recruiting?
Well yeah that’s different I would think.
The thing about that was that the kid called the Coach. The Coach didn’t call the kid. The Coach just answered his phone and explained to the kid about the rules of transferring. The DA chairman said that since the phone call lasted 14 minutes that there must have been some recruiting going on. Now that is some BS.

It's pretty easy to be a playoff team in 11 man when they take four teams out of a five team district.
That only happens at the 6A level. 1A through 5A are presorted into D1 and D2 and then only take the district winner and runner-up to the postseason. 6A takes the top 4 per district to the playoffs and then places them in the D1 or D2 bracket based on enrollment numbers of the qualifying schools, the two highest of the 4 go D1 and the two smallest go D2.

I don't think that's correct. Here's the 3ADI bracket: https://www.uiltexas.org/football/playoff-brackets/3AD1

They have a spot for the Winner (W1), runner up (R1), third place (T1), and fourth place (F1) in all districts. The 2A-5A brackets all look the same.

I think they'll be fine.

Brackettville is 4-4 coming off a 58-13 loss to undefeated Junction (7-0).

They've lost to Comfort (4-3) 43-19, Cotulla (3-4) 35-6, Falls City (3-4) 7-6, and the previously mentioned Junction.

They've beaten Harlingen Marine Military Academy (4-4) 52-14, D'Hanis (3-4) 63-6, La Pryor (3-4) 62-28, and Sabinal (4-4) 42-35.

Not exactly a murderer's row.

Could be wet in Kerrville Friday night (55%). FWIW.

Falls City is tradtionally pretty good--hadn't noticed they were 3-4 this fall.
