Gordon vs Thorndale

Gordon is going to play 11man football. They had to buy jerseys for the linemen.😁 Should be interesting. This is the first of two games of 11 man football.

Thorndale did not belong on the same field as Gordon. I think if Gordon really wanted to be tested, they need to play a 2a team that's ranked in the top 10!

Saw an article about this. Thorndale was about the only 11man team that would play them. Thorndale will be a playoff contender again this year. Gordon is just THAT loaded.
Thorndale might make the playoffs, but I think there might be a few other teams from sixman that could beat them as well. I mean if they really wanted to get tested, they would have played a top 10 team in 2a.

Why would a top 10 team in 2a want to play Gordon? What would they have to gain? What would they have to lose? Not sure Gordon was looking to be TESTED. It appears Gordon has several players that will be playing 11-man football at the next level. Their coach is doing a fantastic job getting them experience and or exposure. Doesn’t really matter who they play does it? Not only that, getting 6-man football more exposure as well. Just as Rigdon chose to play 11-man his last year. Of course people complained about that as well because this is a 6-man site. What I see is both scenarios bringing attention to the 6-man ranks and people noticing there may be quite a few kids at these schools being overlooked. These kids the last few years are generating a lot of articles, interviews, conversations, etc. This is a good thing IMO and not really a test. Just my irrelevant opinion.

Look Homelander, a coach doesn’t just say, “Hey, I think I will play Thorndale in week four!” “Or Mason, or Llano.” Both teams have to need a game, and both have to agree. And when a team is successful and strong, teams drop you like a hot potato. Everyone is looking for a possible W. You will fill your schedule with just about anyone who will agree to play.

This, there are other six man teams that can beat these weak 11 man teams. Look at teams that go from 6 to 11 man and have some success. There are weak teams in every division
