Finally get a chance to get out of town and go to a football game.
Of course can you believe it ?! My fourteen year old wants to stay in town to go to a dance at her school. These flighty teenage girls ... just don't know what's important ! I told her fine but that her uncle(s) would have to disown her. Anyway she's staying in town for the dance and spending the night at her friend's house (going there directly after school lets out as apparently it take 3 hours to fix one's hair for the dance - huh - she never bothered fixing her hair for any of the football games. However, the 6 year old and I still have our priorities straight so we will hit the road @ 5 so as to be in Loraine in plenty of time for the game.
