Game around Abilene?

I'm starting to get the itch to start getting back into watching 6-man football again and me and my girlfriend are looking for a game tonight. We live in Abilene and I get off about 5:30 and want to make it there by gametime so what is a COMPETITIVE matchup happening within about 90 miles of Abilene. So far we're thinking Rule-Woodson but does anyone else have any suggestions?

I just don't want to drive for an hour to watch a team get 45'd, so please put your hometown biases aside and help me get back into 6-man football lol

Well there is the Highland vs Water Valley game in highland. Both teams winless..... might be a well-matched contest........

ACHS plays at Strawn tonight. Should be a good one. I'm expecting it to be a high-scoring 4-quarter game. Hopefully ACHS can pull out an underdog win, but we'll see.

Yeah I thought about ACHS and Strawn, my girlfriend is actually an ACHS grad lol. I guess the predicted spread just turned me off a little bit. But like I said, I am just now kind of starting to follow it again

The computer's predictions aren't real accurate this early in the season. It usually takes about 4 weeks before there's enough info to work with for the computer to start to get more accurate. Our first 2 games had big spreads predicted, and they ended up being 7 and 8 point games.

That said, we won't know until the game is over tonight how this one will turn out. LOL

I simply picked the closest game to Abilene that had the narrowest spread............ Certainly not recommending anything.......... For all I know it could be a 45 point game either way........

Take a look at the power ratings of each team and compare them. That's over simplified but pretty close.......

Balmorhea vs. Richland springs Sep. 18 should be a great game, best teams in division 2. Easily the game of the week.

Yeah Rule-Woodson was better than the score showed, two completely different styles. But yeah I sure wish I went and watched ACHS and Strawn! I'm new but I guess I should learn to not put much merit in those spreads lol
