And a close eye on your back trail......
If I'm not guilty of anything I don't have anything to feel paranoid about.
Do I ????????

If you can answer "YES" to any of the following questions, then you officially have to worry:

1) Are you politically conservative?

2) Are you politically Libertarian?

3) Are you a practicing member of a non-PC Christian sect?

4) Are you Pro-Life?

5) Have you ever participated in any "Tea Party" event?

6) Do you believe that the Federal government has gotten too big and needs to be reduced? This one is a HUGE red flag to the IRS/NSA/FBI/EPA/FEC/ad nauseum

You forgot FEMA....the goverments long arm of the law:)

I consider myself a conservative, and really wasn't a big fan of the 2001 patriot act which legitimizes the government to listen to our phone calls (only as it has to do with terrorists, that is) but we live in an age where terrorists can plan a suicide attack online, on phones all over the world. As long as the motive is to stop terrorists, I have no issue with the govt listening to phones, just as I didn't have an issue with the gov tapping our phones during the Bush administration.

If they feel they have probable cause on me and can get a judge to sign a warrant, they can listen to me all they want to. I might would get charged with murder though. The poor guy having to listen to me would probably die of boredom.

If the idea of this is to stop terrorists, why the hades did the Boston bomber get it done? You'd think a trip to a terrorist training camp in Chechnya and warnings from the Russian government would have been enough for a good look at him.

You can't stop Terrorism in this country
while you sell them weapons in their country too.
Can you?

So sorry, Mr. Dog...

That statement shows logic. Logic is neither encouraged nor allowed in any of the occupied territories, under the kind, benevolent ministrations of Babylon-on-the-Potomac. The drones are on their way to discourage any of your acquaintances from attempting any similar logical thought.

Your friendly P-R-I-Z-M agent.

Under the ECHELON program, the US, UK, and Australia listened in on every phone call in the world. This program started in the Cold War and from what I have heard, included the old Soviet Bloc to some extent too. It was illegal in the US, but was kept secret for over 40 years. The Patriot Act simply legalized ECHELON in a very narrow fashion.

As it was explained at the time, the Patriot Act had the government tapping in on phone calls to and from the US to known terrorist areas only, which a Bush admin official said would be mostly in the middle east and SW Asia. That was stated MANY MANY times over a several year period. I believed them even though I was uncomfortable about making it legal.

Now we have a new administration that has several times expanded the definition of a terrorist to include any American citizen who opposes them. Mustered out combat veterans were highest on the list, but gun owners, tea party participants, pro-life activists, and members of more traditionalist Christian sects were now considered highly probable to be terrorists. By changing the definition, they have been able to legally do this, precisely what several conservative and libertarian commenters stated back in 2002/3.

Nearly everyone I know falls into at least one of these catagories.

Hey, guys I got a business idea from all this ... just need investors.

To circumvent the NSA snoops and the Obama Regime's stated plans not to monitor activity at Muslim Mosques, I'm planning to start a new cell phone company ...

The Muslim Mosque Cell Phone Company.

Our slogan: "You can't hear us now!"

Disadvantages is that each phone is going to have to be shaped like a Mosque (although the pointy top could be used for a better antenna and reception), each phone will automatically call Mecca five times a day, and that your wives and daughters (1) must wear a burqua while using the phone and (2) only a male relative may dial the phone.

Sign up today for the unlimited minutes plan to reach your 72 virgins (or is it raisins, as some translations suggest) .... and the phone is compatable with all suicide vests!

We better be careful. They'll send a drone to get us.
