Florida now playing 7-man football

The small private school league in Florida has switched from 6- to 7-man football for some reason. I don't know any other state that has played or is playing this besides Florida. Rules are basically the same except the player who receives the snap can run and the C and 1 other lineman are ineligible.

I remember talking or emailing with some of the folks there a year or two ago; they were thinking of expanding from 6 to 7. Not sure if I remember their logic behind the move, but they may have played 7 man last season.
