Eagles have not fielded a full team...yet. One key starter broke collarbone in the first scrimmage but will be back soon. Another key starter is splitting time between cross-country (scholarship implications) and football and has only played in one game. Eagles are improving game by game and young players are getting a lot of playing time and getting some much needed experience. Eagles should be firing on all cylinders come district time. Both games against Balmorhea and Sierra Blanca are in Sanderson and it should be very interesting. Bears look like they could make a long run in the playoffs.
