This game was Sixman Football at it's best. Super athletes on both sides of the ball. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this Texas Bowl a success.

What a great game!!!
Public schools had every chance to win including missing a FG that would have made it a 2 possession game with less than 4 minutes to go and getting the ball inside the 15 and failing to score in the last minute. If you attempt a FG the first time why not do it again? I would have never attempted a fg in the first place but what do I know.

I think that this is only the 2nd or 3rd time that the format has been public vs private, so I believe the answer to that would be yes.

I saw where Samai (ACHS #15) kicked an extra point. I don't remember him ever kicking anything during his 4 years at ACHS, so that tells me that there must not have been any kickers on the private squad. LOL

Wish I could have been there. Sounds like it was a great game. Congrats to all the young men who played on being honored by the invitation to be a part of the game.
