Undefeated, untested RS vs a scrappy Zephyr district champ. # 5 vs # 14.

Then Cherokee vs Oglesby. # 7 vs #6 in DII.

Lastly, Strawn dropping a spot from 7 to 8 after defeating Fannindel 76-6 vs Iredell dropping from 11 to 12 in DII after beating Bynum 59 - 14.

Oakwood by 20 over Goldburg.

Richland Springs by 20 over Zephyr.

Oglesby by 5 over Cherokee.

Strawn by 5 over Iredell.

Maybe a good game in there somewhere or two?

Iredell will get off the bus, hang out for a half, then head back to dragon country with a L. Hounds by 50.

Iredell is overrated and Strawn is underrated. Strawn by 40

I tend to be conservative in my guestimations. Seeing #8 vs # 12 I went looking before I looked at the matchups feature. The similarities had caught my eye. Identical records except Strawn had two byes the week before district started, one less game than Iredell.
Both were 45'd once by top 5 D1 teams, lost to another.
Iredell averaging 53 points per game, giving up 22. Strawn 62/25.
Strawn does have 3 shutouts to 1 for Iredell and scores more. And they are the only team this year to score more than once on Gordon.

Just going to leave this here. Strawn/Iredell Score. Iredell is moving on.

Hat's off to Iredell. Both teams left is all on the field as the saying goes. A very entertaining game, lots of big plays. It all came down to that one point in the end. Actually, a botched extra two-point attempt by Iredell. A bad snap or mishandled by the holder, rolling around on the ground. The kicker picks it up, starts to run with Hounds coming at him, stops and passes to a wide-open lineman in the end zone.
So, it could have been 92-90. Or tied 90-90 going to overtime, maybe still playing.
Again, hat's off to Iredell. They had a player taken off in an ambulance, a leg injury, I hope it's not too serious.
