Composite science teaching

Thinking about majoring in chemistry and teaching highschool science. Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Any tips or suggestions? I played six-man for 4 years in highschool. Would I be able to find a teaching/coaching job at the six-man level with composite science? I know it's not great money, but I feel that coaching is for me, and teaching science would be enjoyable for me.

Just make sure you take enough upper division physics and chemistry courses to really know the subjects. In fact, a physics degree with a minor in chemistry. Over the years I have had numerous run-ins with "science" teachers who really did not have a good knowledge of the subjects they were supposed to be teaching my sons.

The best one my boys had was a Catholic priest who had a master's degree in physics.

You have a very good plan. How are things going?

Transferring this upcoming fall so I can commute, and not have to pay for a dorm. Not 100% sure how much schooling I have left. Should be somewhere around 2-3 years before I'll be looking for a job, if everything goes well.
