I begged and begged for some new pants, even offered to pay for them. (Had money from chasing goats, etc. NOthing bad there) But wore those things all season.
Sorry no sissy QB, actually threw my arm out as a freshman and soph., had some good coaches used to have use go out and start throwing deep patterns with no warm up. Old elbow hurts just thinking about it. Spent rest of time making holes for the glory hound running backs and trying to tackle folks. Ha
