Father, we come on a day some call “Black Friday”, others say TGIF, we say “Thank God I’m Forgiven”. We thank You for this gift of life and another opportunity to be up and about You business. Father the best bargains are found on Mt. Calvary. Forgiveness, love, mercy, peace, understanding, joy, fellowship, salvation, a new direction, a new purpose, a hope not in this world but in Yours, strength when we are weary, healing when we are sick, deliverance when we are bound, a friend when we are friendless, the Holy Spirit, a mansion in Heaven, an Advocate who argues our case, Brother who is enthroned beside You our Heavenly Father and the total price is FREE. Bought and paid for by our loving Savior with His precious blood. Sears can’t beat, Walmart doesn’t offer it, it can’t be found in a mall, it’s not on the internet, it only comes from You. Thank You Father, awesome doesn’t come close to describing You. No human words will ever come close. On that day when we stand in Your Holy presence and see You all we will be able to do is shout Hallelujah, Glory, all honor and praise belongs to You and You alone. We have found a hiding place from the storms of life in You. You are our Rock and High tower and our coming King. Father, let You mercy fall upon us this day. Let healing flow like a river.
