BC is the more athletic team and would win by at least 2 tds. Now if you were going to combine BC and RS to form an 11man team, I would rather see them play Refugio then Bremond. That QB from Bremond is one bad dude!

Real similar to number 7 Thompson of Calvert. Maybe not quite as good speedwise as Calvert.
I'm sorry to say man but there's no comparison in those two players. Roshauud Paul had a handful of division 1 offers and is committed to Texas A&M so he has to be an elite athlete for colleges to be after him like that. I mean that kid from Calvert is good don't get me wrong, even in my dreams I still wouldn't be as good as him. Yet like I said there's no comparison Paul went 47-0 as a starter, 3 state titles in a row and had multiple offers.

I have not seen this Paul play, but I can tell you the only advantage he has is his being in an eleven man program and perhaps a little more height.
Jaquan Thompson is limited only by the fact that he had three coaches in four years of varsity play, and four different coaches counting junior high. That is a handicap and a crying shame. But that is life.
Good is Good no matter where you play, no matter the size of the school. Don't count tds and yardage, look for skills and the ability to make plays no one else makes. That is the true measure of ability.

Speaking of Good. I have to acknowledge the undeniable truth that the best six-man program in the contiguous United States is located in Richland Springs, Texas, and coached by Jerry Burkhart.
Congratulations to everyone who made the state championships of course.
Good job Jerry and coaches. Good job Don, teachers, trustees and parents of the RS Coyotes. You have provided the rest of us a super example of how a top notch, second-to-none program must look if you want to be the best.
Going for nine just blows my mind.
You really think Roshauud Paul has a greater advantage for playing for a 2a division 2 school? Come on now the smallest 11man schools really don't get that much recognition either. I mean they get more respect then the sixman community but its not a lot. All of the 2a players that do go on to the next level have either started since their freshman year, taken their team to state and also dominate some event in track. I mean just to name a few James Washington star WR for Stamford also was a track athlete, Dee Paul QB for Munday was a track athlete, Reginald Davis Tehana QB was a track athlete. Thats the thing coaches aren't looking for just stats their looking for raw ability and thats one thing track displays is just that. You can argue all day about 4,000 yards passing and 55 tds may not translate to the next classification. Yet one thing that is the same no matter what classification is track times, I mean a 10.5 in the 100 meter dash is a 10.5 sixman through 6a. I agree with you talent is talent no matter what classification you play for, but one thing sixman players need to understand is your not going to get recruited for just dominating sixman football. You got to go out on the track and dominate some event out there as well.

Also I've said before I agree RS is the greatest program in sixman, but I don't believe this team is the best team this year. The only way their the best to me is if they play BC and beat them.

Absolutely, but don't neglect the tiger in that coyote tank. That's more definite than a Chinese calendar, which is about as accurate as a Chinese cookie.

That is so true BE. I have always wondered why college scouts don't recognize what it takes offensively to come up with a winning combination. They almost always look for the "big players" instead of the "big play makers". That is why I could never understand why more colleges did not want to try Tyler Ethridge as a receiver. Look at Cole Beasley. Small, quick, an athlete, a winner, former high school quarterback, and the best receiver on the Cowboys' roster. Too many good ones are overlooked in my opinion.

While I haven't seen Borden County play this year and cannot seriously weigh in on who would win between the two schools, I think they should play this fictional game on Novice's old field if it is still in good shape. This would give the game a real sixman feel! :)

I have RS as a 20 point favorite... and I think that is fair.
You really did it.
2016 WEEK FINAL SPREADS
FINAL
Richland Springs favored over Borden County by 20

still cannot believe nobody has noticed.
Well since you pointed it out.
You old rascal.

Guru you realize some yahoo will take you seriously................... BTW did you have access to the same cheap concessions at your secret underground FSSW bunker that we had at Jerry World?

It's a shame this game won't be played! I mean how do you give a team the number one overall ranking without playing the best team in Division 1? For all you who think RS would dominate this game, I can recall the same thing being said between Happy and BC. That Happy would 45 them or win by a large margin, but guess what the exact opposite happened.

it's even on the schedule... and the map...

A Christmas present!
I zoomed in, is it in Wilmeth or Pumphrey?
I went to google maps itself for the earth view. I can't see a football field in either.
Is the game to be played in a field like that one episode of Friday Night Lights?
I'd like to know if there's any point in bringing my stadium seat.
I've already called the kids and told them were doing Christmas on Christmas eve.
Will there be concessions or should I bring a turkey sandwich from the leftovers?
I'll be there for this one but just wondering if FSSW will stream this one for those who can't.

By cheap I guess you refer to quality. I know they have fancy chef's in some of the restaurants and serve things likes sushi but if I remember right they do use PBCP on the nachos.

As unfair as it may be, since the game isn't happening, I guess we will have rely on the fact that RS is the only unbeaten UIL six-man team in Texas and the fact they 45'ed the Division 2 team that beat the best team in Division 1.
Life is so unfair.

I tried to get them to put PBCP on my sushi but the Japanese guy behind the counter called security...................

I just want to see the game played and it should be played. Not just between these two teams but every year D1 vs D2. Like I said before you can't go by who beats who! I've been in games like that where we were nearly 45d by an opponent and then the team we played a couple of weeks down the road beat the team who nearly 45d us. Well we end up beating that team by nearly 20 points!
