Balmorhea bears have 7 returning All-State players, 5 of them being first team all-states. Do these bears have what it takes to get the best of Richland next year and bring home a state title? Leave your throughts below and any others teams that have a legitimate shot of winning the state title (no Milford cheerleaders please)

As a Balmorhea Coach, I know we will not be worried about Richland Springs. We will be interested in getting better and taking it one game at a time. We will worry about this when we get there. We (as does everyone else) know that nothing is guaranteed and we must work hard to make it there first. Thank you for your support.

RS will loose a game again someday. Not impossible it could happen in 2017.
They don't walk on water. Trouble for others is they know that.
Also, in a couple of their "closer" games this year if the ball had bounced the other way in the 2nd or 3rd quarter a time or two or someone intercepted them a third time (for the year) the other team might have been close enough to be inspired in the 4th quarter. If, if ,if...

Of course they will lose a game. That's the stupidest continuous commit I have ever heard.
Hell, they lost one in 2014 & one in 2013. And they could go 0-10 in 2017!
For all you that have been sucking on a sugar tit for the past 14 years, need to check the old books. RS was the doormat of six-man football from 1979-1998. They have had more losing seasons than winning ones.
Ok, on to the subject. The Bears could have had 20 All-State players, but apparently All-State players doesn't win you the big prize! I think RS had only 5 All-States compared the the Bears 7. Sounds like the Bears were lacking in other parts of their program.
Sounds like Obama's entitlement law came into effect to make sure everyone gets a prize.
