Crowell unsportsmanlike no way...... i got crucified for pointing that out earlier in the year.... hmmmmmm

I remember your post as a result of tonight. The really hummm part is that tonight's penalties really had no influence on the outcome. Why then? Do they have to get a little too fired up to maintain their intensity?
I know, sore looser.
Been there before.
Makes winning sweeter in the future.

Crowell can deny all that want but didn't they also have a big problem at the Regional Basketball a few years ago also. If it happens enough times maybe some truth to it.

This is a football forum. Thats all history? Were you there?

Guess the gum flapping you heard laid all blame on the Wildcats.......... How many Crowell fans got escorted off the campus?? Do you know why the women was escorted out?? Did Crowells chearleadees get asked to move away from behind the other teams bench?

We have/had some issues with self control, but the young man that got ejected from that game did nothing to deserve the racial slurs that were hurled at him during that game.

We won a State football title that year after an amazing game against Water Valley....

Yes i was there all you say is not true and i love how people in the wrong always play the victim and justify there actions by making excuses have a great day and remember Class and Character come from who you really are if it aint there well it just aint. Ive made many mistakes in life and when i examine me and try to be accountable instead of blaming others is when i grow and find change.. People ie kids do these things mainly for attention so here it is..

Well then Mr. Memory tell me what you saw from your vantage point. Are you and Mr. Golden one in the same?? This was an A-B conversation but I would love to hear your take on the issue since you seem be be overly versed in everything the Wildcats do. What year did you start following our program? Better yet what year did you graduate Tdog so i can try and figure out what sport the Cats put such a sour taste in your mouth? There is more to it than just a handful of unsportsmanlike conduct cause calls..

Say what you will but I will defend my Cats in this one!!

Do tell!!

In 1989 and have never played a single game against crowell but i do attend alot of games in an official capacity i see and hear alot and of all the games i attend the facts are the facts i assure you i hear and see way more than you do...

Well. We graduated the same year. Wonder if we ever faced each other in high school sports? Where did you graduate from?

Next game you attend in an officiating capacity that the Wildcats are playing I would love to discuss this particular game with you as one of us didnt actually see/hear what happened. Ill buy the frito pie or whatever the concession stand is selling and give you a copy of the video roving two of the actions mentioned above. Youtube might be a better option?

Im sure the young man had a red flag next to his number in the officiating circle. I will not defend any of his actions before this but nothing he did warranted the way he was treated that afternoon!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to the Strawn Greyhounds. An undefeated regular season has been accomplished only 4 times previously since they went to six man. The last time was 1998. The spreadback was the current Union Hill Coach. While your young, bet you can't do it again. That ain't been done since the late 60's, ask stinker.

Special congrat's to the two SR starters Landon Hayney and Tyler Ross. I don't think the team would have done as well as they did without their experience and leadership. Quite a turnaround from the last couple of years.

I was not at the game this week, but we played Crowell this year. They were by far the best team, but not once did they mouth at our kids or play unsportsmanlike in any way. The Wildcats just lined up and played the game. I know other coaches in our district would tell you the same. Keep up the hard work Wildcats and take it one week at a time. Congratulations!

I didn't intend to vilify the player or team. I posted what the announcers were saying and thought the officials dealt with a situation that occurred in a playoff game. I did feel the penalties might unite Crowell in their second half efforts. Maybe they ultimately had their intended effect in that respect, I don't know.
I think the most influential penalty in the game was the call back of the TD by Strawn at the start of the 2nd half. After recovering the onside kickoff and scoring it would have been 30 to 24 or 26. Instead after the penalty Strawn went 4 and out, Crowell went down and scored.
It might have been a game to the end with that td, not a 45'ing, or, as it was.
If, if, if, if's and but's were candies an nut's we'd all have a merry Christmas.
