Another Year Down the Tube

Don't despair there are over two weeks of regular deer season left so go stir up the deer population and mistreat a few feral hogs while you are at it. Pull out the metal detector and look for hidden treasure. Remember the South will rise again and so will the Strawn Greyhounds. P. S. Mary's is always open for business.

The world ends in about 5 days. Six-man folks possess better survival skills than most city slickers. Therefore, our game has a much better chance survival.

sure would like if that was just the end of the 1st half of the season. i had so much fun watching these young men. i wish there was a way to tell each of them how much it means to see the effort they display. well thanks to all

and for all you round ball fans for me the worst day in football is better than all the best days playing with a round ball added together.

a young man posed this question at the feed store.. we won state in golf last year, why doesnt anyone seem to care? one of the men said we care ,,,,, but on the give a spit a meter it ranks about as high as who won the first two a day scrimmage.

I would like to say thank you to all the new friends that we found this year in Sixman. I have not had as much fun as watching this great sport. The Sixman nation welcomed the Cardinals into the fold and this has meant more to this community and district than most will know. I am very much looking forward to next season and meeting other fans from across this great state.

Well, all the playoffs are over and now for 8 months of doldrums until football starts again.

So, you've lost faith in the ability of the board members to find things to wizz & moan about?

Just to start another direction of talk, I managed to see 26 varsity games this year in person. How many of you sixman fans can beat that one.

My team is great, yours blows........
That should start something...............

That will do. Could it be that your team was great? Looking at the roster in the program the last two weeks made me wonder if RS run might be over for a while. I need to double check. They always seem to reload but nearly the whole team were seniors. I know there was a freshman playing quite a bit, seems like only a couple of JR's listed. A Throck fan told me he heard they didn't have a JR HI team this year for lack of players.

At least the RS horn was pointed straight down their sideline this time, although it did still drown out the announcer. Wondered what the site hosts or UIL thought of that, if they noticed from inside the press box.
You mean Pete allowed himself to be seen in public with Cowboy?
