A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Championship

Well it's raining cats and dogs. Then all the sudden we feel a bump. Darn it flat tire. I got my mojo, kids getting soak and wet. Then looked for the lug wrench and it's no where to be found with buses going by sticking their tongues out at us and laughing.
 
Pop I've been hearing that all day. Some of the high schools canceled but there's a lot of teams from here have layered their clothes and are ready to get out on the field. They said their adriniline (sp) would carry them through. But I have to say that I'm glad everyone's kiddo's have one more day for the weather to maybe be a little better. Oh my gosh the news said sleet is on it's way. DSH got a late start to the lease. If anyone from Throck see's him off the road, please help him.

.Most of the kids can tolerate the cold better than us older folks..especially since they are running around chasin a pigskin...its the folks who sit around that have it the roughest....

Playing in cold weather sucks, everything you do stings.
 
Your absolutely right Pop. That's why I'm not doing the lease thing this weekend. I'm cold and have all the heaters going. Me and cold don't mix.


B6 that's what Pop and I are talking about. I'm glad the kids cancelled until tomorrow.
 
B6 sometimes it's the price you have to pay to go to the Championship....playing in November and December can be treacherous...some players play better in the cool weather...some play better in the hot weather...some play better period.
