2022 Rankings Finally Here!

I promised y'all would soon have someone else to be upset with, so here we go...quite a bit later than I would've liked, the 2022 rankings are finally here! If you're not happy with the rankings keep in mind these few things: 1) this is my first time doing anything like this and I really only started paying attention to what teams, not within a 50 mile radius of me, are doing last year and 2) I can only go off of the information that I have.

I'm not sure how @granger usually did his pre-season rankings but what I did was basically take a list from last year's final rankings and tweak ratings from there. I moved up teams who I know added players or I had a gut feeling would be better this season and moved down teams that I know lost a lot. I certainly didn't have info from all teams, or even most teams, so most of what you're seeing here is part how teams ended up last season and part guesswork...nothing more.

That said, you can see the full rankings, by division, here: https://sixmanfootball.com/rankings/

If you'd like to see the overall/uber rankings, see those here: https://sixmanfootball.com/rankings/overall

Also, with the pre-season ratings in place, you can now see the spreads for week 1: https://sixmanfootball.com/spreads/

Great job on the rankings. Can’t wait to see a few people here see the rankings and get big headed or complain about their team ratings.
As the people from 365 sports said, preseason ranking are nothing more than “glorified guess”. I want to see the rankings after week 3 to really see where teams are

Mike, will we know who the home team is by where they placed in the spreads? Named first or second?

No, I actually didn't even think to set it up like that. The order there is just basically which team's schedule the game was added to first. For now, to find out where the game is played you can click on one of the team names to go to their team page, then check their schedule. I'll try to get it fixed for the next update to show the home team first in cases where the teams aren't playing in a neutral location. When they are, there is no designation in the database as to which team is the home team.

It’s fun to look at but, rankings are worth as much as the paper it’s written on! The true rankings is how you finish the year playoffs and all. With that said Mr Mike you do a fine job sir and it is hard to start out picks but I will say sir you are usually close!
