2021 D2 District 16 Battle

This year district 16 has four teams that could hold their own in about any district in the state. Rochelle, Cherokee, Richland Springs, and Mullin are all pretty salty! Too bad only two will make the playoffs.

The Cherokee Indians just knocked the Rochelle Hornets out of the 2021 football season. The Hornets had been promising great things for the past two years, but have been disappointed again. There were plenty of Hornets on the sidelines so it wasn’t because of low numbers.?? Just curious as to what happened. Besides just getting hammered by 6 little Indians?

Cherokee gets a kid back next week that broke his leg in either first scrimmage or first game of the year. Rumors are he’s a great player. Wishing all the best to the Indians. Go get em fired up 36! Ol 85 will be cheering for them.

Joey ought to just get ready for his upcoming track season and not worry about getting in on the last of this football season. He needs to defend his shot and discus titles and not take the chance of re-injuring his leg at this point. IMO
