2016 is over and the champions were crowned in December. Congrats to all Coyotes around Texas, I can sure hear y'all howlin! Next season couldn't get here faster as I'm sure we all love our Friday Night Lights!
So to spicen things up a bit, would anybody like to share their insight on their 2017 preseason top 10 for both D1 & D2? I'll have my lists together soon. Come one, come all! Let's have some fun!

1. Happy
2. Borden County
3. Sterling City
4. Garden City
5. Jonesboro

8. Bryson
9. Avalon
10. Buena Vista

D2:
1. Richland Springs

I don't know what BC or Happy are loosing but one train of thought is until BC looses they are defending their state title and ranking.

Maxpreps shows BC loosing 8 seniors, which includes their top 2 backs, Sumners and Jones. That may be too much for them to recover to go back to state.
Happy is loosing their star back Bryan, but everyone else should be returning. I think having most of their whole roster on both sides should be enough to propel them into state.

I think another rematch between BC and Happy will take place. Borden County will be solid and they have an awesome coach! He'll definitely have them boys ready! I just think with the depth Happy has and the experience gained, it'll give them the edge just a bit! But of course we should play the game, that's where all the excitement is at!

I think y'all should wait until after the Christmas day game to speculate on this.
If RS 45's BC you might want to reconsider.
Granger does have them favored by 20. It is a possibility.
