Wichita Christian School is located in Wichita Falls, Texas. (TAPPS 1A School)
We are looking for a serious candidate that wants to help grow our program here at Wichita Christian. Our main priority is finding a strong Christian teacher that can take on some coaching duties. However, the coaching positions could be STIPEND-ONLY if an individual is seeking part-time. Preference will be given to candidates that are certified and can coach.
We are accepting applications for the following positions below:
HS Social Studies Teacher
JH Head Volleyball
JV/V Defensive Coordinator (6-man experience is a plus)
JH Head Girls’ Basketball Coach/Asst. Varsity Girls’ Basketball
Applicant must:
Have an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
Be committed to being a spiritual leader for our student-athletes.
Have an extensive knowledge of one’s sport(s).
Have a willingness and ability to promote the vision and mission of the school.
Be able to develop relationships with administration, faculty, and staff.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s Degree
Certification (SS Composite or 7-12 History) or minimum of 18 undergrad or grad hours in subject area
Have or willing to obtain a CDL with Airbrakes
Minimum of 1-2 years teaching is a school setting
