They ran into the Mountaineers! Zephyr is a very good team, they just played a bad game like SA did against Rochelle. Will be a good game between them and Rochelle. If Rochelle plays like they did against SA, they can beat Zephyr. Good luck to both teams.

I am a Rochelle fan and believe they will be ready for the Bulldogs. No matter the outcome watching this district it has to be one of the toughest, and every player in it should hold their head up and be proud of themselves for playing their heart out in it.

Shoud'nt have to come down to a coin flip. But until someone comes up with a better way I guess that's the way it is! Anybody know of a better way? Maybe a drunk monkey throwing darts !!!! Can't be any worst than a coin flip!!

The Mountaineers are off Friday the 9th of November. The Mountaineers finished up the regular season 9-1 ranked 12th in Division 1 and 20th overall with their only loss coming to the Rochelle Hornets in District 9 Six Man Division 1 Football.

Since the Mountaineers are off the game of the week is Zephyr vs Rochelle at Rochelle starting at 7:30 PM.

If the Hornets win then they will win the district outright and Santa Anna will go to the playoffs in second place.

After that it gets a little more complicated.

Zephyr will have to beat Rochelle by more than twenty points to force a three way tie for first and a coin flip and then it will be odd man out.
The winners will face Gordon or Lingleville who play each other for their District Championship in Lingleville.

Zephyr is favored by 9 points.
