The injury of Guthrie's Landon Roberts was also a factor, if he would have played all quarters Guthrie would have won. But hats off to Petersburg.

D1 D14 could be fun to watch this year. Penelope 45's Mount Calm 61-16. Coolige beats Oakwood 46-24. Aquilla lost for the first time 68-34 to Avalon. And Abbott is Back in what had to be a heck of a game beating Blum 58-52. They're shakin up the Toy.

Eddie G, I enjoy the Toy this time of year. After ingesting 3 games it's re thinking last years results and was still a bit confused. A few games tonight may have given it some indigestion. That's the fun part.

Let me say one thing about this game. 8 boys (with no seniors, and 1 playing without a PCL) suited up for the Panthers and played a 3 hour OT football game. There was a combine 992 yds total offense, playing half the field as both teams kicked onside every time. We found ourselves down 68-53 and came back to take a 75-68 lead. The officials missed an obvious offsides call on the PAT when a kid was pretty much behind our center before we snapped it. Well, they drove down and scored with 1:30 left in the game. Their starting center was ejected earlier in the 4th which caused some issues on their PAT. After a few penalties on the try, the ended up on the 18 and put their offense back in to score 1 for the tie. We held Rule at the 2 yard line in OT and then quickly scored in 4 plays. It was an incredible game!
