Week 4 - Here we go

There are some great match-ups taking place during week 4.

The HUGE one is
Balmorhea vs Richland Springs ... Vance Jones and Jerry Burkhart lock it up. I think Richland Springs takes this one and remains the top dawg in DII.
This possibly could be a glimps of the DII state game.

Jonesboro vs. Zephyr ... This will be a very good and PHYSICAL game. I like Jonesboro in a knock out brawl.

Abbott vs. Blum ... Can Abbott bounce back after a week 3 beat down. Blum has had their number the last few yrs. I'm going with Blum, I just have that feeling that Blum OWNS Abbott.

Blanket vs. May ... May has found a recipe for winning. Week 4 they keep that recipe in tact. May wins.

Gholson vs. Avalon ... by looking at the weekly scores and comparing them to last year, Gholson is a much better team for whatever reason. Gholson keeps on winning.

Hermleigh vs. Motley County ... Two very good coaches here, I believe Hermleigh wins this one.

Robert Lee vs. Ira ... Ira just keeps winning and winning and winning. I honestly believe they find a way vs. Robert Lee

Petersburg vs. Groom ... Petersburg has been a very quiet surprise. They surprise Groom too. The Buffs win this one.

Dang I wish Richland Springs was a little closer for me to get to the game on time!

We're making Rochelle vs Santa Anna our game of the week to travel to but I keep second guessing because no one is talking about it? They both show to be ranked and on paper it seems like it should be pretty competitive but I'm pretty new to this...thoughts?

And, I hear that the Balmorhea vs Richland Springs game is going to start early at 6:30 instead of 7:30.

Santa Anna put up a lot of points on Mullin, but Mullin is only a middle of the road team. Rochelle is near to being top tier. Santa Anna beat Rochelle last year in the first round of playoffs in a close game. Santa Anna graduated at least three front line players that are having to be replaced. Rochelle, on the other hand, graduated maybe one. And they will not miss him. I look for Rochelle to pull away toward the end by at least 30. If they don't they will not be able climb into the top tier this year. At least in my mind.
