Hello,
My name is Grant McConnell and I am looking to get into coaching as my career. Over the past couple of years I have been off and on about it, but I realized it was my calling and I needed to jump in. If I can find a good fit I will start on an alt certification program and complete it as soon as possible
In high school I played for a small private school called St. Paul's Preparatory in Arlington. I was apart of 3 TCAF 6 man state titles for football, 1 state title for track and field, and also played basketball and baseball. I started coaching in my junior year of high school and enjoyed every second. I enjoyed the feeling of helping athletes get closer to reaching their potential.
I have 3 years of coaching experience for 6 man football and 5 years experience coaching throwers and middle distance in track and field. In addition I have also coached at Sports International camps here in Texas. Thank you for your time and any advice, I am looking for something in the North DFW area anywhere from Justin to Blue Ridge. I have attached my resume to this and appreciate any feedback!
