After a crazy weekend of upsets, here are the unbeaten teams still standing.

Connecticut 5-0
South Florida 5-0
Northwestern 5-0
Penn State 5-0
Missouri 4-0
Oklahoma 4-0
Oklahoma State 4-0
Texas 4-0
Texas Tech 4-0
Tulsa 4-0
Ball State 5-0
BYU 4-0
Utah 5-0
Kentucky 4-0
Vanderbilt 4-0
Alabama 5-0
LSU 4-0
Boise State 3-0

The Big 12 is about to get nasty. I just hope they don't all beat each other out and keep someone from the conference from getting to the title game.

Texas made CU look like a high school team this week. Tech is playing strong, but just no way to tell how strong until they play UT or OU.

Not too many left now. We'll lose a couple (if not all) of the Big 12 teams in 2-3 weeks, and for what it's worth, Utah and BYU will have to play each other. Otherwise, a couple more of these with lighter schedules might make it out undefeated. In fact, Tulsa could win a couple more and still not break the top 25.

Penn State 8-0
Oklahoma State 7-0
Texas 7-0
Texas Tech 7-0
Tulsa 7-0
Ball State 7-0
Utah 8-0
Alabama 7-0
Boise State 6-0

Only BYU fell off this week. A couple more weeks should clear out the Big 12 for the most part.

Penn State 9-0
Texas 8-0
Texas Tech 8-0
Tulsa 8-0
Ball State 8-0
Utah 8-0
Alabama 8-0
Boise State 7-0

Only lost one more this past week - Oklahoma State.

We'll lose UT or Tech for sure this week.
Beyond that, not too many tough games. Tulsa plays Arkansas, which might knock them out, but the razorbacks aren't having such a great year.

Penn State 9-0
Texas Tech 9-0
Ball State 8-0
Utah 9-0
Alabama 9-0
Boise State 8-0

What a week! Tulsa and Texas are gone. Penn State and Ball State had the week off.

Huge games this week: Tech vs. OSU, Alabama vs. LSU, and upset time, Utah vs. TCU.

Oh yeah, and Penn State playing one of the high school teams in the big 10. Would someone just beat them and get them out of the title picture for good please?

Texas Tech 10-0
Ball State 9-0
Utah 10-0
Alabama 10-0
Boise State 9-0

I know I may be about the only one keeping up with this, but wanted to update this week's undefeated teams.

Tech is idle. (as is OU, their next opponent, so both should be rested.)
Ball St. and Boise St. don't really have anyone tough left on their schedule
Utah fought through a defensive battle with TCU, but still has BYU left.
Alabama has a pretty clear road until the SEC championship, and have a huge task ahead of them to beat Florida.

Texas Tech 10-0
Ball State 10-0
Utah 11-0
Alabama 11-0
Boise State 10-0

No change from last week, but there is a chance for any of the 4 with games this week to be upset:
Tech at ut-norman
Utah vs. BYU
Boise St. at Nevada (not a huge threat, but on paper at least, they only lost to Texas Tech by 16)
And the one I'm sure you'll all be watching:
Ball St. at Central Michigan (only losses to Georgia and Purdue)

Alabama is idle

Ball State 11-0
Utah 12-0
Alabama 11-0
Boise State 11-0

Guess we all know who fell off this week. Ball St. and Boise St. each have one left, and Alabama has 2. Utah is done until bowl time.

It may be easier said than done, but seems that Boise St. and Utah really need to work on getting to a better conference. Don't know if they could ever get into the Pac-10, but if they stay put, they are always going to be playing easier conference games and may continually have undefeated seasons and not break the top 5 in the final polls. At the very least, seems that Boise St. should try and get into the Mountain West and further elevate the strength of that conference.
