if you have the chance to put your son or daughter in a sixman school for academic/athletic purposes which school would you choose...
for son?-----
for daughter>---

Borden county- great coaching staff, they compete in everything they do, kids go to college and great facilities. Only negative would be nothing in town of Gail and would have to drive almost 30mins to do any thing.

just googled mapped the school. how come their home side on the football field is so big? thats huge for six man. is that turf as well?

Garden City is richer, and closer to Big Spring and Midland......
Yeah, but Water Valley has the mighty North Concho River so, you know, we've got that going for us, which is nice.

This is a loaded question. It depends on what a man and wife want for their children. Some look for a small school but want all the conveniences, amenities and interaction of a large city, thus the privates/"church schools"/home schools. Most UIl schools are rural. How rural do you want? Where? I'd personally go nuts in some of West Texas looking for a tree or decent hill. Some love it. You have to consider you own want's and needs too, especially regarding employment. you have to be able to provide for your children. Some want to get there kids as far away from "it" as they can (e.g. try Fort Davis). Does driving an hour or two to walmart bother you? I'd assume your interested in athletics AND academics.
I like the Strawn Gordon area. Good Academics. Good Football. The North Texas Hill Country. 35 miles to walmart and a few other dining choices, movie theaters in Mineral Wells or Stephenville. 75 miles to West Fort Worth or Abilene (the mall). Considering moving back after retirement.

Besides basketball what other competitions is Nazareth typically good in? I don't know them well enough to say either way. I've coached against BC boys and girls so I'm able to say with out a doubt there one of the best in the state. The girls just one a team gold in track a few years back, basketball is normally in the playoffs, great cast for one act play and once again the coaches really are top notch. Garden city is another great school. Here's a better question what schools aren't talked about but should be????

How about Abbott?

Great facility with an awesome staff. Academics are great! Historically VERY strong in all sports, both girls and boys. 50 miles south of DFW and 25 miles north of Waco. Hillsboro and West are both only 5 or 10 minutes away.
