Amidst all of the playoff hoopla and excitement, one team will play for a championship that means every bit as much to the players and coaches even though they’ve walked a different road.

No one grows up dreaming of becoming a Methodist Children’s Home Bulldog. However, as the Bulldogs prepare to play for the TCAL Div. I state championship at 7 tonight in Springtown, the dream is just as alive and real as every other team walking out on the field this weekend.

Through some difficult circumstances my daughter came to be a MCH Bulldog for her Jr and Sr years. These kids are special in many ways. I am proud to be a supporter of their program and have been very impressed by their ability to build a quality program in spite of the obstacles they face.

I've had the opportunity to watch this school play each season for the last several years. So pleased that this article recognizes the great work being done by the school and the special kids who attend.
