Some of you are aware that my wife and I had our second son Rhett who was born in July and he spent the first 5 weeks of his life in the NICU in Temple.
After leaving the NICU our son Rhett would spend time at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston where we discovered he had an extremely rare genetic deletion where there have only been 6-7 documented cases in the entire country since 2002. We would discover that there was no cure and each of the children that had the same deletion had passed away before the age of 1.
I am very sad to say that Rhett passed from this earth and into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday January 21.
Although my wife and I are extremely saddened and heart broken we a comforted by the promise that we will see our son again in Heaven
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers
