sixmanfootball.com has the game being played in Starwn??

It's will not matter where they play, Strawn wins with a TD run with less than a minute left in the game.

The game was originally scheduled for Strawn, but after the rest of the scheduled for each team was put together, the coaches agreed that having it in Gordon would benefit both teams to even out the home/away ratio for both teams.

Gordon will win this one, even with 2 starters out.

Knowing what I know about the Strawn/Gordon rivalry... the best team or most talented team doesn't always win. Games that should be blowouts end up being nailbiters. Sometimes it comes down to the team that can better deal with the rivalry pressure and the much larger than normal crowd. There couldn't be a better situation for these teams in helping them prepare for possible playoff runs. That is likely why the game continues to be played even though Gordon and Strawn are no longer in the same district. Last year Gordon defeated Strawn 57-50 and I see no reason why it will not be close again this year. It could go either way.

I've been to a few of these games and I must say that both teams always show up to play. You never know which way it's going to go. Saying that Gordon can't beat Strawn because they didn't beat Ira or Stephenville Faith is crazy. Both of those teams are very good and definitely deserve their rankings. The game Friday night is going to be intense and both teams have a shot at walking away with the win. Between the players, coaches, and fans, ther is no telling what will happen. I am excited to watch this game.

During my lunchtime siesta, I mean power nap I had a dream. Some guy in a old Gordon letterjacket was in pac a sac in Strawn ordering a hamburger at lunch time on a school day. He sneezed all over the counter, didn't try to cover with his hand at all. Then he went and sat down to wait on the burger and sneezed all over the table, made no effort to clean it up.
Next he was at Mary's having pie and coffee, same thing, all over the table/chairs. Then he heads to the bathroom and wipes his runny nose with the front of his hand and grabs the door knob. Last thing before I woke up I saw him out at lake Tucker standing almost in the water just a sneezin his head off.

While I usually respect Keepers opinions, I feel he might have been hitting the crack pipe @ 21 points (not sure I agree with Grangers 19 either). That being said it will be good. Likely to get dirty. But The Hounds will prevail. Strawn by 3.
