When I looked at the schedules for both Strawn and Gordon I immediately thought that Gordon had the tougher schedule but I decided to let the numbers speak for themselves.
In the picture is the two schedules and their opponents. As you can see Gordon's average opponent is ranked 104.1 over all and has a rating of 214.23. Strawn's average opponent is ranked 94.9 and has a rating of 225.11.
This shows us if we are going to say, "They have a weaker schedule" then we need to runt he numbers and let them speak for themselves. Gordon's opponents do have more state championship history than Strawn's does but it does not matter what you did last year, it boils down to what you can do this year.
Apologies to the private schools if I missed any of the state championships, I tired to find a page that listed them all and could not. If someone knows of a site please let me know.
