Who do y'all like to take it all this year?

Full TAPPS Div. III predictions coming out tomorrow. This bracket feels wide open, anyone could take it.

Valor seems like they have been running away with it all season. Same for Christ the king. What did the competition look like in those areas of Waco and Lubbock? Or how difficult were the opponents for their respective schedules. Did they play lots of good competitive teams?

Of the district champions ... San Marcos Hill Country and Lake Jackson Brazosport had the toughest schedules. (I take the sum of a team's opponent's records and subtract the reverse of the team's record to get their opponent's W-L record against other teams.)

Lubbock Christ The King Cathedral (District 1-1) - 33-51 minus 0-9 = 33-42 (.440)
Waco Valor Prep (District 2-1) - 38-49 minus 0-9 = 38-40 (.487)
Greenville Christian (District 3-1) - 42-50 minus 3-7 = 39-43 (.488)
San Marcos Hill Country Christian (District 4-1) - 45-41 minus 2-8 = 43-33 (.566)
Spring Founders Christian School (District 5-1) - 29-52 minus 0-9 = 29-43 (.403)
Lake Jackson Brazosport Christian School (District 6-1) - 45-40 minus 3-6 = 42-34 (.553)

Jonesboro Eagles 285.66 UIL Division I
Red Oak Ovilla Christian Eagles 269.89 TAPPS Division II
Bellville Faith Knights 258.46 TAPPS Division III
Carrollton Prince of Peace 242.35 TAPPS Division I

San Marcos has a record that makes them look good. They beat an unhealthy castle hills team and also a unhealthy freddy team. A team that if you were at the game, had 3 starters out and one playing with a cast, and somehow only managed to lose by 4 points. San Marcos is not as good as people think.

Who do y'all think will win the southern playoff bracket, to me Founders looks pretty tough, their middle linebacker number 4 Is a monster
I Like freddy coming out of the south. Not sure how long those 3 starters are out for but if they can get the injury bug taken care of, they are my pick. After that I would have pick founders

I will be at Fredericksburg Heritage at Spring Founders tonight. Thought about broadcasting it. Founders would have approved and I'm sure Tim would have, but just decided against.

Will post score updates on our X feed @TeamLSCSN. May be able to get it updated on here at the same time.

I agree 4 is solid for sure! Honestly it will come down to brazosport or Fredericksburg. Giving the edge to Fredericksburg. Coach shipman will have his boys ready to play no matter what squad he has available. Yes he proved that again against San Marcos who thinks they really did something in that game. Barely escaped with a win without their starters playing. No excuses that’s part of the game.

Freddy and Brazosport will be a great matchup next week. Whoever wins that has to be the favorite to come out of the South.

Up north it looks like Waco Valor continues to roll.
I would agree, Freddy and brazosport are the best teams in the south. It’s too bad that isn’t the semis match up. Waco valor came out and won big against kingdom prep. I would have thought it would have been a bit closer.

Went to the divine vs bellville game and it was a very competitive game. Divine really missed Rutledge but held their own and almost came out with a win. Bellville will have their hands full next week against San Marcos.
Can’t look past midland holy cross. They have one of the best coaches in the state. Hosea Stredic is going to have his guys ready with whatever San Marcos has ready to throw at them.

Holy cross had their hands full. Stredic is definitely one of the best private school coaches for sure but they were just outmatched. SM had too much speed. Call it transfer or not it happens. They have a well rounded squad. I feel like Fredericksburg should get the win next week depending who all the they get back in the lineup. Anyone know if they got any of their players back against spring? Brazosport is probably the most well rounded team left in the south. Aggressive on defense, overall team speed and have a good pass vs run ratio. If Fredericksburg is healthy this game will be fireworks.
Bellville will have their hands full with hill country. I don’t think this game will be close but I expect a big win for hill country.
