Sixman in 7 on 7 SQTs?

Matt Stepp stated on the June episode of Tepp & Stepp that a few 1A schools participated in SQTs this season, but no one qualified for the State Tournament in College Station. He didn't name names though.

Do we know who was playing 7 on 7?

They mentioned Valley had in the past

In the Abilene area, I don't think there were any, at least none of the SQTs that Abilene Football Officials chapter covered.

How do you prepare for 7 on 7?

It's basically the same concepts except the Center doesn't go out for a pass. Just run the same route concepts just put a "guard" next to the center to take over their route. Defensively, you can make your 7th a zone coverage over the middle for crossing routes.
