Savannah will get a kick out of this. I showed my third grader where Santa is at on the NORAD tracker. She's getting ready for bed now because he's in South America and it just can't be long until he gets here.
If they're smart, they won't let on that they got the idea about Santa ... I realized when I was 9 or 10 that momma and Santa had similiar handwriting, but I kept on with the ruse for another year or so.
The oldest knows better now. She'd need to wear a helmet all the time if she didn't. But, for the most part, she does everything she can to make us believe she believes.
My niece had been hearing there's no such thing. She decided to find out for sure, she'd only tell Santa what she wanted, not her mom. If she didn't get what she asked for, she'd know there isn't a Santa.
Her mom waited until the Christmas edition of the local paper came out and read my niece's letter to Santa to find out what she wanted. My BIL wasn't happy about having to go Christmas shopping last Sunday.
My daughter is 11 ( son is 5)... My daughter is at the stage where she still believes but is questioning a little.
It's is 1 o'clock am and my wife and I are putting the kids Santa gifts under the tree for Christmas morning (kids are fast asleep) when I just happen to notice my daughter's IPod strategicly placed recording the process ( the hopes of catching Santa) LOL!!!!!! DELETE!!!!!!!
