This would be a great job for anyone willing to coach junior high sports. The salary is by the district pay scale but I know the salary for starting teachers is $38,000. The coaching stipends are competitive. The school gives 5 paid district days plus the 5 state days and they have a great insurance plan. There is a great group of kids that are coming up that show great initiative, willing to work hard, and are very easy to coach. The cost of living in Sanderson is cheap so anyone taking the job should expect to be saving quite a bit of money. All around the people are great and the school administration is very relaxed and always willing to work with you and help you out.

If anyone is interested in this job but is worried about a place to live, I am currently residing in a house where the rentee would prefer a teacher be the renter. It is a nice size three bedroom two bath home that was very comftorable for myself, wife, and three kids. The guy is really nice and asking for 700 a month. If interested just pm me and I can give you more details if you would like. Also, if you are passing through I do not mind letting you inside to see the house. I will be leaving late July and the house will be ready to rent in the beginning of August.
