Denton, MT has won the last 2 Montana 6-man football state titles.
In July 2008 (just before Denton decided to move to 6-man from the 8-man ranks) there was a car accident that killed four of their young men, who were on their way to a summertime basketball tournament. It has been a sad 4 years in Denton-last weeks graduation would have seen the 2 youngest of those four graduate.
Less than 24hrs after that graduation ceremony. On the road just outside of town, tragedy struck again. One of those recent graduates, Miller, and the 21yr old Assistant Football Coach, Buckentin were killed in another roll-over accident.
Please be praying for all the people in Denton, but the young people in particular. Most of the folks who read this board are from small towns. Imagine your town loosing 6 young people in just 4 years....? As I'm a volunteer firefighter and EMT I will also be praying for the faithful locals that responded to these accidents.
