Just got confirmation from the Superintendent that Roxton ISD will NOT be playing football this year

Wonder why. Thought they were already scheduling games.

They had a full schedule...I think he is the interim Supt. as of now... Said he had to find the schedule to start letting people know they will not play...He also said the coach they hired left, their field is not ready and some kids backed out from playing...

That is a shame about not playing football. They played 11 man little league in the early 2000's
Great kids/athletes.
Maybe in the future
