I don't think I've heard anything on the news today about this being the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor......
The survivors of WWII are diminishing daily but our remembrance of that war should be preserved.........

Yep, they are dying off like the WW1 guys were when I was in high school and college. I saw that only two of the Doolittle raiders are still left. When they go, there will be a HUGE hole in our nation's memory.

I make a reunion every year with a guy who survived the Indianapolis. Those guys in WW II were TOUGH!

I have a client who was a pilot in WWII. Shot down twice, and talks about the experience like it was nothing more bothersome than a flat tire. There are heroes, and then there is The Greatest Generation. What they did as a matter of duty to their country, and the level of guts they possessed during those 4 years is something I don't think this nation has seen since.

And by no means am I trying to take away anything from anyone with the courage to serve.
