Funny thing is...these rankings are more accurate than the "real ones". WOW!!!!!

guys, the actually official rankings from this site... not listed above here.... are always listed by groups below the UIL divisions.

One thing I try to do, but am not always successful at, is eliminate the teams that a) are not playing or b) don't really need to be published (like JVs and out of state teams)... I am sure Pete is just listing all of the teams in his database because it is a heck of a lot easier than constantly adding or dropping teams. I always try to leave them all in there (about 500 teams) but this year I have been pretty diligent in trying to get them out. So much so, that last week I was told that EP Home School wasn't playing this year, so I deleted them, only to find out they have now played 2 games... the next day... there's just a ton of teams

good info, I used a starting point earlier in the year and if a team doesn't play the same ranking is carried forward.
