1 Richland Springs - Started at #1 and finished at #2, switching positions with Throckmorton. 2012 Division II state champions. Finsihed a perfect 15-0, the only UIL program to achieve this accomplishment this season. Extended current winning streak to 45, extended current home winning streak to 62, extended consecutive state championships to 3. 45'd all 10 of their regular season opponents, and their first playoff game opponent, as well as their last. Won against Oglesby, Milford, Jonesboro, Strawn, and Follett in the playoffs to win the State Championship. Became the first team in 6 man football to be crowned State Champions 6 times.
2 Throckmorton - Started at #2 and finished at #1, switching positions with Richland Springs. 2012 Division I state champions. Finished at 14-1 with their only loss being to TAPPS Div I state champion Dallas the Covenant in week 2. 45'd seven of their opponents, including both of their first 2 playoff opponents. Defeated Rotan, Water Valley, Rankin, Valley and Abbott to claim the top title. Extended current consecutive state championships to 2. Making their total state titles 3.
3 Borden County - Finished at #5 with a record of 9-3. Their 3 losses came at the hands of Valley, Water Valley and Crowell, all top 15 teams. Won district DI-4. Lost to Valley in the second round of the playoffs.
4 Ira - Finished at #8 with a record of 11-1. Won district DI-7. Lost to Rankin in the second round of the playoffs. Sr RB Lance Morris broke the all time high school rushing record and finished his career with 11871 yards on 828 carries with 179 touchdowns
5 Abbott -Finished at #9 with a record of 12-3. Made first ever trip to the state championship where they lost to Throckmorton. Won District DI-13.
