Okay, I looked at TAPPSter and did a few permutations and such. So here's a semi-uneducated guess on the brackets and playoff situation for D2 TAPPS going into the week 10 games.
Required warnings: Don't try this at home. Consult your physician or attorney. Do not remove under penalty of law. Friends don't let friends vote Democrat. Seriously, some crazy things could happen or there's a tiebreaker or permutation that I didn't figure in. But I feel pretty good about this.
District 1: This could end a three-way tie, depending on how Plainview Christian and El Paso Jesus Chapel finish this week. If Jesus Chapel wins, its EPJC, Kingdom Prep and Plainview third. If Christ the King wins over Kingdom Prep, well, everybody hold your cards and we'll have to check it again.
District 2: Wichita Falls Notre Dame is set as #1. Winner of Brownwood Victory Life and Granbury NCTA is 2nd, loser is third.
District 3: Heath Fulton is #1, Longview Trinity #2. District complete.
District 4: Seguin Lifegate needs to win Friday over Castle Hills for the #1 seed. With the Lifegate win, Fredericksburg Heritage would be #2, and San Antonio Castle Hills #3. I'm not sure if those seeds would change even if Castle Hills beats Lifegate. San Antonio Town East Christian meets San Marcos Hill Country Christian for the #4 seed in week 10 with the winner as a Wild Card.
District 5: Lake Jackson Brazosport has finished district and has a half-game lead over Alvin Living Stones (who plays Bellville Faith) and Orange Community Christian (who plays Magnolia Legacy). If both of them win, it's Orange-Living Stones-Brazosport. In a two way tie, Brazosport has the tiebreaker over Living Stones or Orange has the tiebreaker over Brazosport. Either way, those are your top three seeds. If Houston Texas Christian beats Brenham Christian, they have the #4 seed, otherwise it's Bellville Faith.
Wildcards (by district). There are only six possible finishers to fill these six wildcard spots.
District 1- 3rd I'm thinking Plainview Christian
District 2 - 3rd Loser of Granbury NCTA/Brownwood Victory Life
District 3 - No possible wildcard (three team district)
District 4 - 3rd, probably San Antonio Castle Hills; 4th winner of San Antonio Town East or San Marcos Hill Country game
District 5 - 3rd, the odd man out between Brazosport, Living Stones, or Orange Community; 4th either Houston Texas Christian or Bellville Faith.
