I predict that if Buckholts hasn't forty fived it by the half that they will win by at least 30 points.

Congratulations to Coach Satcher and his team, I notice that they have broken all the past Buckholts records. Great job, coach.

sorry to say but nobody is being 45'd in this game, miracles happen everyday but it wont be thursday night, its gna be a good game, i have buckholts picked to win but not by no 45 or 30 points, i say buckholts by 15

Maybe not, but, then, you haven't seen Buckholts play. They have improved game by game. Their defense has become pretty awesome with two of their players rated in the top eleven in the state, Ivan Morales and Levi Braddock. This is not to take away from the rest of the defense which has had an awesome season. Their offense is led by the number two quarterback in the state in six man, Nathan Rice, who has only been sacked three times all season and has thrown for 2081 yards with an average of 208.1 yards per game and had only six interceptions all year. This is not to take away from the rushing with an average of 164.6 yards per game. Buckholts has played some tough teams, Jonesboro, Calvert, and Tomball early in the year. They could have won against Jonesboro if they had capitalized on their red zone penetrations. These three games were before their defense came together, if they were to play these teams again, I am more than sure they would win. I am not just a fan, I grew up on football. When I was twelve, my uncle was a high school All American football player, we never missed a game. He went on to play for Bear Bryant at Texas A&M where his knees got so bad they had to carry him up the stairs to his apartment. He played with Jerry Tubbs in High School and one of his best friends in college was John David Crow. When he quit because of his knees, Bear told him that he had him slated for college All American and was sad to lose him. I have been a great fan of football over a great span of years. There is a feeling when a great team comes on the field and Buckholts inspires that feeling. Coach Satcher has done a more than great job of mentoring and coaching these boys. They are all good boys, and he is an awesome coach.

I think the Ira vs Crowell came could end up being a lot closer then most people are expecting it to be.

That one and the Ropesville vs Grady game are the two best matchups this week.

I forgot about Rankin/SC. That's a good one too.

ofb- I think the ropes/grady game could be a great game if both teams come out buckin. also the ira/crowell game. sure wish i could be there to see that match up.

Oakwood, you were right. I was wrong. It was a real nail biter. I think I might have been closer to right if Buckholts hadn't let Aquilla get twenty points ahead of them the first quarter. Both teams deserve credit, they both played very hard. It was a very good, hard fought game. Buckholts 66 Aquilla 60.

It was a great game! Aquilla came out on fire and #18 was much more impressive in person than on the film we received. Aquilla played with heart and fought until the final whistle. Our defense settled down after the first quarter, but all it took was one play and he was gone! What a great atmoshpere for high school playoffs. I was so impressed with the entire evening and it was great to meet Cowboy after the game. Again, another example of the class Aquilla brought to the field. Very blessed to have made it past the first round and look forward to another week of the basketballs staying in the closet. That was our first playoff win since 1965, so our entire community is pretty pleased.

It couldn't have happened without you, coach. As I said before, you have done a more than awesome job of coaching and mentoring the boys. Thank you, and God bless.

Lol, now is that a surprise, and, of course, I pick Buckholts. After looking at all the stats for the players and the teams, it looks like it will be a close game, but Buckholts is ahead in most of the players stats. Buckholts played Jonesboro a lot closer, too. Buckholts would have won that game if they had been able to capitalize on their red zone penetrations. By the way, I used stats off of the six man coaches association site. I hope it is my turn to be right.
