Good morning!
What a beautiful start to district that some teams have already had a start on! There were a lot of special games this week that really caught my attention, but there was one that I just absolutely could not stay away from!
Tommy Trish moved onto greener turf this year when he took the job at Coolidge! He’s ready to make the biggest splash in six man this year when he takes down the Abbott Panthers tomorrow night! His team has been putting up some very impressive numbers, but he called me in to help fix his defense and boy has it been some work!
Tommy Trish called the offensive plays over in Oakwood last year on their big state championship team! I know legendary Coach J Jonah Johnson taught Tommy everything he knows about six man football, but he may regret giving Tommy the freedom to spread his wings and fly away from the Oakwood nest! Coolidge has some world class speed on this team, and I really think that Abbott is going to struggle to keep up! I’ve worked with the Yellowjackets all week long on defense, and I know that Terry C’s seed, Kyle, is very worried about what they’re going to do! While Tommy has some good offensive ideas, you do have to question his play calling once in a while! I’m hoping that I can help tune that up before tomorrow’s big game!
Abbott is currently coached by a guy named Kyle! Kyle is the offspring of legendary coach and colorer, Terry C! I remember helping out Abbott a few years back in the playoffs, and Terry loved to sit around and color pretty pictures while I did all the heavy lifting of the football team! 2 years removed from Terry and it’s almost like Abbott has hit an all time low! The Hill County wolves put up crazy numbers on them! The Panthers are WAY down compared to what they used to be, which could be why we never hear from any of the Abbott bandwagon fans that used to run this site! Good luck to the Panthers scoring any points tonight on the defensive looks Coolidge will be giving you!
The good news for Abbott is that they will get to go home early from this one, the bad news is that it will be on the other side of a big time L!
