I got called out last night at 10:45. On the way to the job site I saw 3 deer, 2 dogs, a rabbit, a possum, a field mouse, and an owl. The field mouse was running from the owl, the owl won......Gruesome, but really cool. I had to dodge them. Then about 5 minutes before I got to the job site, they called me back and said they got it, and thanks, but I could go home. So, I turned my truck around and started to 52 mile trek back home. Saw 4 deer (one of them could have been the same as one I saw on the way there, it was in the same spot), a field mouse (no owl this time) a raccoon, 2 skunks, an armadillo, the same 2 dogs and then 3 cats(as I was pulling into my driveway). I know, I know, I do live the party life.

I changed the radio station to the top 40 station for the 2 1/2 hour pointless drive and a couple of songs came on that piqued my interest. One was Christina Aguillera with some dog singing a song, that chick can really sing, the other was Britney Spears with some rapper dude, that chick really can't sing. I remember when they used to be rivals about who was the better singer/entertainer. I don't think it's a question anymore. Then a song by Pink and the fun guy (?????) came on. Decent song, not all hip hoppy. The rest of it i tuned out, but it did keep me awake. And was slightly less annoying than the alternative of rubber banding the switch on a power drill and placing it beside my head to keep me awake.

We got some rain today, that was interesting. Kinda wish I wouldn't have wasted the water on my grass 2 days ago, but it's all good.

I'm trying to teach SIRI to say the word "suck" anytime I say the word "Yankees". So far she has resisted every attempt.

C'mon, really, there should be an exception to the rule....... The Yankees really do suck, so Yankees suck should be acceptable.
